1985 Pink Haro Master Restoration Project

3 September 2012 2 Comments

As many of you know, I had a 1985 Haro Master in the rare pink colorway. Well, I sold it. Sorry, I didn’t feel sentimental about it at all, and I didn’t do it for the money either. I was moving and it was time to let it go. It deserved a home that would appreciate it.

The kind gentleman who bought it was stoked to restore it to its original glory. He shared some photos of the project, which I am in turn sharing with you here.

Here, Jason was trying to decide which seat to run. (He went with the green one.)

This is the finished project. It’s closer to the original version than even mine was. I had blue Tuffs (with a coaster brake) and white tires put on mine when I bought it. I also ran a white Snakepost and a pink seat (I’ll upload a photo of it when I unpack).

Jason adds jokingly, “when I ride I don’t have to worry about scratching it.”

Thanks to Jason for sharing the project. He did a damn fine job, and I’m stoked the frame is off my kitchen counter and back to its original purpose. Rad.
